Together Safely
COVID-19
Considerations
Much planning has gone into making this year’s celebration safe for everyone. However, everyone must do their part.
COVID modifications include: open-air and social distance planning, hand-washing/sanitizer stations, and directional wayfinding/signage.
Do not attend if diagnosed with COVID-19 or experiencing symptoms of COVID-19.
A COVID Preparedness Plan is in effect.
The 4h of July Committee will continue to keep in mind the continued community spread of COVD-19 during the 2022 Fourth of July Celebration in order to make it a safer event.
We are working directly with the North Shore Health Department (NSHD). In fact, NSHD members have attended our planning calls to guide us.
We ask families to social distance and “party in place” as much as possible while eating, listening to music, and watching the fireworks. Please bring your sunscreen and sun umbrellas/parasols to protect yourself from the sun as there is limited shade at the park. Please bring your blankets and lawn chairs to enjoy your family time comfortably. Fireworks start at dusk, shortly after 9 pm. Hand washing stations and hand sanitizer stations will be available for use. Please review CDC and North Shore Health Department guidance.
