Glendale's 4th of July

Fourth of July

Kletzsch Park, Glendale, Wisconsin

Join Your Friends in Glendale to Celebrate America

The City of Glendale is excited to offer another fantastic Fourth of July Celebration!

One of the grandest Fourth of July Celebrations in Metro-Milwaukee. This all-day event offers two parades, a full-day festival, and a grand fireworks display, all at no fee. Parking is free on the area streets. Everyone is welcome!

Start in the morning with a children’s parade at 10 am. Kids decorate your bikes and meet at Parkway Elementary at 9:15 am. You'll promenade North on Milwaukee River Parkway to Kletzsch Park. Treats and a gift bag will be handed out at the end.

The Main Parade Extravaganza follows, featuring floats, celebrities, bands, clowns, animals, classic cars, and more. Spectators can watch along Milwaukee River Parkway between City Hall and Kletzsch Park.

Following the parade the festival begins at 11:30 am at Kletzsch Park with fun activities for all ages. Festivities include bounce houses, a rock wall, the North Shore Fire Departments’ super soak, dunk tank, boy scout corn roast, food trucks, baseball game, hair coloring, henna artist, classic cars… the list goes on.

Come 5:30 pm, The 5 Card Studs take the stage. This band joined us at Music in the Glen last year and filled the park. They are a talented group of entertainers who don’t take themselves too seriously, making it fun for everyone!

At dusk, around 9:30 pm, the grandest firework display in the North Shore is launched courtesy of First Bank Financial Centre. You won’t want to miss it.

Don’t just come for the show, volunteer to help make it happen!
